**5. Man harasses police, tells them to leave friends alone**
Ryan Arthur Dudley, 20, was arrested Sunday morning after he continuously harassed police officers on two calls to the 400 block of Foxfire Drive.
On the first call at 1:42 a.m. officers responded to a liquor call and were advised of a party with underage drinking, according to a Columbia Police Department report.
When the residence was checked, no violation was found, but as officers were leaving the premises, Dudley began to question officers about their presence. He was intoxicated and did not live nearby, so officers would not answer his questions. They left the block, but were called back at 2:28 a.m.
Upon arrival, Dudley was still there and continued to ask officers why they were there. Dudley tried telling the officers to leave, and they explained they were called for a peace disturbance and that he needed to leave the area, since he did not live there.
Dudley again approached police and told the officer to leave his friends alone. He was instructed another time to leave the area. He refused and police arrested him on suspicion of obstruction of a government operation.
