MU and Columbia police launched a manhunt Friday night to apprehend an alleged sexual assault and burglary suspect.
The suspect is [described](http://munews.missouri.edu/news-releases/2014/0510-search-for-suspect-continues/) as a male in his thirties, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall with an athletic build.
Even after a three-hour search, however, authorities were unable to locate the suspect.
According to an MU Alert release, the man was last seen in the Hinkson Creek area, moving toward the MU campus.

Authorities ask that anyone who encounters the suspect to not approach him and call 911.
