Missouri Students Association President Mason Schara announced Monday he will be resigning as MSA President and returning to his hometown in Texas at the end of July due to family obligations.
Schara said he will be appointing current MSA Vice President Kelsey Haberberger to take his place.
According to [an MSA press release](http://msa.missouri.edu/missouri-students-association-president-resigns/), Haberberger will be appointing current Chief of Staff Matt McKeown as her vice president. The pair will hire a replacement chief of staff this upcoming week.
For the remainder of his time in office, Schara said he will be wrapping up a current project of MSA’s sexual assault campaign and preparing the rest of MSA for the transitioning of leadership roles.
