Lil Yachty will not be performing in Columbia on Wednesday after all.

The rapper announced in an Instagram post Tuesday morning that posters, fliers and tickets for a show supposedly featuring him were fake. The Instagram post has since been deleted.

The show was slated to be hosted by Club Impulse & Rehab Room, a venue on Paris Road. The MU chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity had been selling tickets for the event in Speakers Circle.

Club Impulse apologized in a Facebook post and blamed the cancellation of the event on contracts “recently proved fraudulent” signed through a third-party booking agency.

The post said Club Impulse is “quickly taking the necessary actions” to return money to ticket-holders. Purchases of tickets made on the Club Impulse website have been refunded, according to the post, but physical tickets must be refunded by the fraternity or the promoter, listed as a company called N&A Productions. Some versions of promotions for the event also listed Dynasty Inc. as a promoter.

However, Google and Twitter searches for both “N&A Productions” and “Dynasty Inc.” on Tuesday morning produced no contact information nor results relevant to the Lil Yachty show or matching their logo and branding in posters, fliers and social media promotions.

The club said it and SAE “in no way are responsible for this mishap.”

SAE had been advertising the event under the name “Spring Fever” on social media.

Club Impulse referred all requests for comment to N&A Productions but did not respond to repeated requests for contact information for the company.
