Residents of the City of Hallsville and the New Franklin R-1School District voted on ballot measures in Boone County on election day Nov. 5.
According to the unofficial results, the New Franklin R-1 School District voted to pass Proposition 1, which will increase property taxes from $3.42 per $100 of property to $4.42. The unofficial results also show Hallsville residents voted to sell the wastewater facility owned by the city.
