Mud Room Pottery Wheel Date Night

The Mud Room is offering private, step-by-step Pottery Wheel sessions for groups of two where couples can make a clay piece together. Thirty minute sessions are $65 where each couple makes a bowl together, whereas the 50 minute sessions are $150 and couples get to make their own bowls. In addition, this event includes an extra session for glazing.

Love CATS The Canvas on Broadway

The Canvas on Broadway is holding the Love Cats Valentine’s Day event open for both walk-in and registration. In addition to step-by-step painting lessons, The Canvas provides everything you need to paint, from aprons to easels, with a Valentine’s Day theme.
“Our Valentine painting has two parts that make up one image. But it could also be done on a single canvas for our independent studio goers. We serve wine, beer and nonalcoholic drinks. The class has frequent breaks throughout the night, leaving time to indulge in good conversation, flirtation, and creativity.”general manager of The Canvas Renee Monroe said.

Galentine’s and Valentine’s Day at Hexagon Alley

MU Sprinkle Some Love Event

The Candy Factory, a Columbia favorite, is celebrating Valentine’s day with their annual sale of chocolate covered strawberries. A half pound of strawberries costs $15, containing four to six strawberries, and a pound costs $30, containing eight to twelve strawberries.

Columbia bakery Sugar, Butter & Flour will host a pop-up shop in collaboration with Kent’s Floral Gallery.
“Come in and get some freshly baked treats for your loved ones. They’ll have mini conversation heart cakes, brownies, cookies, cakes, truffles, gooey butter cake and more.” Owner and baker Alanna Ti’a said.
Tiger Garden

The shop, which sells a variety of flowers and live plants, is run by student florists. For Valentine’s Day, Tiger Garden is selling flower arrangements and gift boxes that you can send to that special someone. Prices will vary.
