- The Movement Advancement Project hosts a map of Missouri’s Equality Profile. It provides an overview of LGBTQ+ laws and policies throughout the state. Overall, the project rates Missouri policy for LGBTQ+ people as overall negative.
- Hate crime laws do cover sexual orientation and gender identity. There’s no laws that permit gender neutral options on drivers licenses and birth certificates. The profile also covers healthcare rights for transgender individuals
National Center for Transgender Equality
- The National Center for Transgender Equality has a search function that allows users to search and compare identification policy for states across the U.S.
- The Missouri Department of Labor also has resources on discrimination in housing, employment and places of public accommodations and how to file a complaint with the Missouri Commission on Human Rights. The department also has a page on policies on gender identity specifically.
