70th Anniversary Maneater Alumni Reunion

The Maneater Alumni Committee invites you to the 70th Reunion of The Maneater. The reunion will take place on the campus of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.

Friday, Oct. 3, 2025

2 p.m – 5 p.m: Registration for the reunion begins. A welcome table will be set up outside The Maneater newsroom on the 2nd level of the Mizzou Student Center.

7 p.m – 9 p.m: A Cocktail hour and appetizer buffet will be hosted at the Heidelberg

Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025

9:30 a.m – 11:20 a.m: Student/alumni workshops hosted by experts in the journalism field (Topics TBA shortly)

11:20 a.m – 1:30 p.m: Lunch Break

1:30 p.m – 3:20 p.m: Additional student/alumni workshops

6 p.m: A cocktail hour hosted at the Hampton Inn

7 p.m: The 70th anniversary banquet begins at the Hampton Inn Banquet Room (1225 Fellows Place).

Keynote Speaker: David Scott, Associated Press VP of US Election Services

Current Maneater staff members and Mizzou representatives will also speak at the banquet.

9 p.m – 11 p.m: Reception/Reunion comes to a close

Any alumni interested in talking to current members of The Maneater editorial board/staff can visit the newsroom from 10 a.m-5 p.m. during both days of the event.
