NFL Draft: DT Elliott heading to Cleveland Browns

The pick is in: defensive tackle Jordan Elliott is the first Missouri player selected in the 2020 NFL Draft.
He’ll head to the Cleveland Browns. The Browns chose Elliott in the third round with the 88th overall pick.
Cleveland finished 6-10 last season.
Elliott, a native of Missouri City, Texas, spent his freshman season with the University of Texas before transferring to the Tigers.
He redshirted in 2017 but made 12 starts in his final season with Missouri, earning second-team All-American honors while leading the Tigers in tackles for a loss (10). He registered three sacks.
NFL analyst Lance Zierlein projects Elliott could start in his first year, citing his versatility and experience with varied schemes and alignments.
