Board of Elections Commissioners Chairwoman Emma Henderson announced at 4:16 p.m. Monday that the Missouri Students Association election will be postponed one week.

The presidential race and the library fee are both on the ballot.

The announcement came in the wake of the [resignation](http://www.themaneater.com/stories/2015/11/9/wolfe-announces-resignation-um-system-president/) of UM System President Tim Wolfe and immediately before Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin announced [his resignation](http://www.themaneater.com/stories/2015/11/9/loftin-announces-resignation-effective-jan-1/) effective Jan. 1.

“This decision was not made lightly and was made with the best interest of all students in mind,” Henderson said in an email.

Voting will now take place from 5 p.m. Nov. 16 to 5 p.m. Nov. 18.
