Aries (March 21-April 19)

It’s your season, mighty Aries — go wild! The finish line is in sight for your lofty goals. End with a flourish, not on fumes. Now is the time to make summer plans. Apply for that overseas internship, book that plane ticket to see your family, find that perfect outfit for the outdoor concert. By setting the bar high this summer, your future will brighten. 

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Oh sweet Taurus, you’ve been bottling up your emotions for far too long. It’s time to let them loose, like opening Pandora’s box. Just know that once your feelings are expressed for the world to see, they can’t be contained again. This might mean losing some so-called “friends,” but you don’t need them anyway. The ones who know you best will listen to you and learn. Your chest will feel lighter, and you will breathe easier after expressing your true feelings.  

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

As the Notorious B.I.G. eloquently puts it in the hit song “Mo Money Mo Problems,” “It’s like the more money we come across, the more problems we see.” It’s time to look at your finances, Gemini. If you don’t have an influx of cash right now, you will soon see it. With cash comes unforeseen problems. Be a Responsible Adult™ and meet with a financial advisor so that you can properly invest in your future. We know this sounds dull, but you’ll thank us in the long run.  

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You are the main character in April, Cancer. Step up at work when your expertise will be needed most. Your coworkers value your opinions more than you know. Spread your wings by developing a new hobby or interest. Now is the perfect time to decorate pottery at The Mud Room or lace up your skates at Cosmo Park. 

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

One word to encompass your April, Leo: liberating. Shake off the weight of past responsibilities, stress and fatigue. It’s time to live in the moment and forget those who brought you down. Remember, the little things in life can bring the greatest joy. Next time you go grocery shopping, buy yourself a bouquet of hyacinth and freesia. The smell will remind you of good times to come.  

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Like a lizard sunbathing on a desert stone, you will gather and restore your energy in April, Virgo. Soak up the new spring sunshine as best as you can. You may feel the clock ticking, but take your time. You only live one life, so you might as well savor every beautiful moment. Take a walk downtown soon and people-watch. You may gather some great fashion ideas. 

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You just can’t quite get love off of your mind this month, Libra. You may start to notice your everyday life mirroring a cheesy Hallmark romcom. Could it be time to find the Edward to your Bella? The Rose to your Jack? Don’t hold back these feelings; take this as a sign to go for what you want. The full moon in Libra on April 16 will have you feeling like you’re on your A-game! 

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Okay Scorpio, you had your fun on spring break, but now it’s time to get back to work. Think about all the progress you could make if you just put your mind to it. So, get that double shot espresso from Starbucks, head to Ellis Library and dedicate a day to catching up on missed assignments. This busy month will seem out of the ordinary, but it certainly won’t be a waste of time. 

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Why are you making yourself smaller for other people’s comfort, Sagittarius? You have noticed that you’ve been holding back thoughts, moving out of the way or hiding your true self. Stop this! Put on that eccentric outfit you’ve been afraid to wear around campus, start speaking up in conversations and remember to stand your ground. Don’t be afraid to take up the space you rightfully deserve.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

April will unleash your giving side, Capricorn, and you may feel more inclined to give your time to others. It will be easy to shower them with gifts and experiences. Although this will be good for both you and your loved ones, refrain from draining yourself. Avoid unreliable friends and surround yourself with trustworthy ones. The right people will return the love you give. 

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

I want you to romanticize your life this month, Aquarius! All of your wishes seem to be shaping up and taking form; this is the perfect time to bask in the glory of it all. Act on your desires and make sure to bring a like-minded friend along on these adventures. Now is the time to go do all of the things you’ve wanted to do while still in Columbia. You will be able to create lasting memories to round out an amazing spring semester. 

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Take time to establish your roots and watch yourself grow, Pisces. You will feel extra grounded during the wild Aries season — a drastic contrast from everyone around you. Have the urge to be more nurturing while you have your footing? Take up gardening or bring a plant into your dorm. Taking care of something else will make the most of this feeling.
