Photo Story: Voter registration activities hosted across campus last week

The Missouri Students Association and Associated Students of the University of Missouri hosted various events throughout the week encouraging students to register to vote.

Copies of the U.S. Constitution were available for students to take.

Students could register to vote, get a copy of the U.S. Constitution and receive a free cupcake.

“Your choice shows even if it doesn’t change the will of the people,” Eichman said. “Callaway County tends to lean more towards Republican, but I voted Democrat, so you can see that shift even if it doesn’t affect the outcome.”

Students could get free cookies at Speakers Circle and pet adoptable puppies at the Francis Quadrangle. Booths were set up at all locations for students to register to vote.

“It’s so important for young people to care about local elections, even in a time where it seems like there’s low political efficacy,” Tran said.
