Photo Story: Un-beet-able lines at farmers market in Memorial Union

Students were invited to Memorial Union’s Stotler Lounge where everything from macarons to lemongrass was available for purchase.

From goat milk soap to homemade beef jerky the vendors at the farmers market held in Memorial Union had students queuing up out the doors.

A list of prices sits on a table behind various produce. — Liberty Produce provides Campus Dining Services with fresh fruits and vegetables at farmers market at Memorial Union on Sept. 15, 2023. The table was covered with produce from cucumbers to carrots and corn to pineapples.

Soap display sits atop a table. — Goat milk soap made by Leah VanSchyndel and her husband is displayed at the farmers market. This will be VanSchyndel’s third winter with Columbia Farmers Market.
