Behind every gymnastics meet at Mizzou Arena, there’s a team that works to make the fans’ experience unforgettable

There’s a lot more to gymnastics meet days than the events themselves. Mizzou Arena has hundreds of people creating the positive atmosphere that helps the meet run to its utmost potential. From the Mizzou Golden Girls greeting fans entering the arena, to staff clearing the stands after the meet has ended, people across the area worked all night to keep spirits high. No. 7 Missouri gymnastics scoring an SEC victory over No. 2 Florida Friday night was just one part of the fueled excitement of the event. The victory marked the Tigers’ highest-ranked win in the program’s history. This collection of photos showcases the people who help Mizzou Arena run behind the scenes on meet day.
