For those of you who read [my latest column](https://www.themaneater.com/stories/2013/8/28/tales-awkward-sophomore-third-wheeling-your-own-do/), I would just like to take some time to clarify my intentions for the column. I did not write the column to imply that one of my old roommates was engaging in sexual activities. I wrote the column from the perspective of a freshman in college who had never had a roommate before and was nervous after all the horror stories I had heard before coming into college about people walking in on their roommates. My intentions were in no way malicious. I didn’t mean to offend anyone, and I’m sorry if people read the story in the wrong context. My only goal in my columns is to recall humorous and awkward events that happen throughout my life at MU and make fun of myself; I have no intentions of hurting anyone’s feelings.
