The rarely ordered chicken sandwich at Plaza 900 is admittedly forgotten for a reason — it is a simple piece of semi-flavorless chicken on a bun. But why take a chicken sandwich at face value? Improve the age-old formula with a fairly simple twist by adding this combo of my two favorite salad dressings, which form a sweet, tasty dressing that combines with Plaza’s juicy (but again, fairly bland) chicken to form a delicious and filling sandwich that rivals Chick-fil-A’s.
Ingredients:
1 piece of grilled chicken
1 slice of cheese
2 slices of bread or 1 bun
1/2 tablespoon of ranch dressing
1/2 tablespoon of honey mustard dressing
1 slice of tomato
2-3 pickle slices
Directions:
Grab a piece of grilled chicken with cheese on it or a chicken sandwich from Plaza’s grill, then turn around and head to the salad bar. Mix ranch dressing with honey mustard dressing, and then lightly cover the chicken with it. Then, grab a bun. If you do not want a bun, proceed to the bread area and grab two slices of bread. Transfer your now-coated grilled chicken onto the bread or bun and add a slice of tomato and a few slices of pickle. Microwave your refined sandwich on medium for about 20 seconds and enjoy.
