Parfait, which translates into English as “perfect,” wholly describes this beautiful and delicious dessert. This creation is by far the pinnacle of my efforts. It is not only the best parfait I’ve ever made or consumed, but also the most beautiful piece of dining hall food I have ever seen. It offers the perfect mix of taste and aesthetics — it is just dense enough to carry a strong, but not overpowering, sweetness with a slight crunch.
Ingredients:
2 servings of about 1/8 cup of soft serve
2 servings of about 3 heaping spoonfuls of strawberries
2 servings of 5-6 pieces of Life cereal, crushed
1 dollop of whipped cream
4-5 pieces of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, crushed
1 sugar cone
Directions:
Grab a standard plastic cup and add a small layer of soft serve. Move over to the fruit and add a couple of spoonfuls of strawberries. Then step back and add some loosely crushed Life cereal. Add another layer of soft serve, strawberries and crushed Life cereal. Place a dollop of whipped cream on top, and then sprinkle some finely crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top of the whipped cream. Finally, accent it by sinking a sugar cone into this perfect parfait.
