Mark Mitchell led the way for the Tigers this afternoon in a big win over the visiting Blue Tigers
Missouri men’s basketball had their only exhibition game against the Lincoln Blue Tigers Saturday, Oct. 26. The Tigers took the lead early and never looked back, winning 90-45.
Tigers forward Mark Mitchell was an active presence on offense, scoring 22 points. Guard Caleb Grill stood out with his outside shooting, finishing 5-of-6 on 3-pointers. He had 20 points total in the win.
Missouri as a team went 29 of 46 on field goals and 8 of 13 on 3-pointers in the game. The team found their way to the free throw line frequently, making 22-of-35 attempts.
Missouri’s offense came out swinging, scoring 53 points in the first half. The Tigers spent 38 minutes with a 50 point lead on the Blue Tigers, their biggest lead in the game.

The Tigers were active on the defensive end, pulling in 24 defensive rebounds and two blocks. Grill led the team in defensive rebounds with six. Missouri forced 26 turnovers, scoring 24 points off of those takeaways.
The Tigers kept Lincoln to a 34% field goal percentage and 31.6% on three pointers. Missouri kept the Blue Tigers to only 18 made baskets on 53 attempted shots.
Guard Anthony Robinson II provided defensive pressure for the Tigers, leading the team with six steals in the game.
